Area of Focus

As head of the Corporate and Securities group for Kamlet Reichert, Mr. Reichert is involved with a full range of corporate and commercial law for a wide variety of companies, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to emerging growth companies to startups.  He has extensive experience in merger and acquisition work for both purchasers and sellers, including structuring and debt and equity financing in connection with such transactions.  Mr. Reichert has been involved in a number of transactions involving both privately held entities and public companies and has represented a number of private equity and venture capital funds in their M&A and financing activities, as well as their portfolio companies.  Mr. Reichert also frequently acts as an expert witness on a variety of corporate and other Colorado legal matters and routinely counsels boards of directors and various board committees on corporate governance and other matters.  Mr. Reichert also has experience on appellate matters with regard to various corporate and commercial matters.

Governor Bill Ritter reappointed Mr. Reichert in the summer of 2009 to another term as Chairman of the Colorado Securities Board.  In the position, he is one of two attorneys on the five-member board, which provides oversight to the Colorado Securities Commissioner and aids in the formulation of policies.
