Cable
Our attorneys have worked extensively on the federal regulatory framework for cable broadband, and represented cable companies in transactions ranging from sales and acquisitions to joint ventures and investments. For those transactions, we work closely with our colleagues in our Private Equity and Venture Capital, and Strategic Alliances and Joint Ventures  practice areas.  In addition, we have served as counsel to communications companies in connection with initial public offerings, refinancings and stock issuance transactions.

Wireless
We represent major national and regional commercial wireless service providers in matters of regulation, policy and corporate strategy, including FCC licensing and technical rules, intercarrier interconnection and federal mandates.  We advise on and represent clients delivering service using Internet Protocol applications.

Wireline
We represent wireline service providers before federal and state agencies and testify before Congress on issues involving domestic and international communications law, regulation and policy. We also have stewarded the process of a regional Bell operating company re-entering the long distance market.  Kamlet Reichert attorneys negotiate interconnection agreements, cost of service, network investment regulations, federal statutory mandates, local number portability, license authorizations and universal service policy.  In addition, we represent wireline clients in a range of litigation matters from telephone service rates to compensation disputes.
